Job Summary

The Operations Manager serves as the leader overseeing multiple centers and is accountable for strategizing, operational planning, and achieving overarching objectives. This role involves internal collaboration (leading various teams) as well as external engagement (working with corporate organizations and trainers). The Operations Manager is tasked with the day-to-day management of the centers, capacity building of team members, and delivering end-to-end solutions.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Develop and maintain a sensitized attitude towards Persons with Disabilities.
  • Collaborate with project staff to devise mobilization strategies, including road shows, engagements with NGOs, CSR initiatives, government departments, media outreach, etc.
  • Promote awareness on skill development and employability through street plays and similar initiatives.
  • Lead community mobilization activities to increase parental awareness and candidate participation.
  • Spearhead employment generation activities within the center's area.
  • Ensure successful placement of center participants and meet placement targets.
  • Conduct Training Need Analysis and assist in designing relevant training modules.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to track center performance and share with headquarters.
  • Document various interventions and initiatives undertaken at the center.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with corporate organizations to garner support for training activities and create employment opportunities.
  • Manage and facilitate beneficiary placements at the center.
  • Oversee center budgets, maintain financial records, and ensure adherence to allocated funds.
  • Achieve established goals for the center.
  • Perform any other duties as required.

Essential Skills

  • Postgraduate degree in Management/Administration/Social Work or related fields.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of experience in the relevant area.

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the disability sector is preferred.
  • Should be well versed with entire MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in communication in Hindi / English / Local language
  • Ability to build diverse & collaborative relationship with external stake holders
  • Ability to lead small teams effectively
  • Efficient data management and delivering reports on set frequencies
