Sarthak India Update

Empowering
Persons with Disabilities

Sarthak Educational Trust was started in year 2008 in India as a Non-government organisation for People with Disabilities.

The great journey of Sarthak began with a batch of 8 blind students in Delhi, India and now after 23 Skill Building Centers running across India, Sarthak looks up to a bigger vision of Global Inclusion. In 2021, Sarthak successfully registered its entity in the UK as Sarthak (For Disabled) UK with a similar vision to empower people with disabilities, Committed to transforming the lives of disabled people by providing them a platform to aspire and achieve beyond disabilities.

As Indian disabled community count on us, We wish to replicate our empowerment model in the United Kingdom to help each child, youth and adult achieve their full potential and engage with families of PwDs, Government, Medical practitioners and other stakeholders through, direct support, services or through our community partners.

500 Million People in the world have one or the other kind of disability, The number of people who can support is much bigger than that In India, cost of training and placement of a Persons with Disability for a month is £55. Please donate generously to touch many lives.

Sarthak UK Webinar

Team Sarthak has been hosting webinars under the UK Chapter, to create more awareness about our interventions & objectives as an effort to reach maximum beneficiaries in the United Kingdom.With the events, we wish to engage with leaders of various organizations such as corporate, non-profits and also volunteers working for empowerment of disability sector.

In this Series, we have successfully organized 4 webinars where representatives of 50+ organizations joined us for the enriching panel discussions so far.
