Academically bright and deeply focused, Kashif scored an impressive 86% during his schooling in Mangaon, Maharashtra. Even as a student, he was drawn to the delicate art of baking. Cakes and pastries fascinated him—not just for their taste, but for their elegant designs, vibrant colours, and artistic precision that spoke to him beyond words.

Determined to transform his passion into a career, Kashif completed a one-year formal course in cooking, followed by rigorous hands-on training at a prestigious luxury hotel in Mumbai.

The long hours, exacting standards, and relentless pursuit of perfection only strengthened his resolve. In kitchens where pressure is constant and expectations are high, Kashif’s dedication quietly set him apart.

A Global Stage of Recognition

Recognizing his exceptional skill, Kashif was inducted into the Abilympics as a wild card entrant, selected through a stringent national assessment process.

This opportunity led him to represent India at the International Abilympics 2023 in Metz, France. Competing against the best from across the globe, Kashif delivered a stellar performance and won the Silver Medal in the Patisserie and Confectionery skill category.

It was more than an international medal—it was global validation of years of silent hard work and unwavering commitment.

The impact of this achievement was immediate and life-changing. Upon returning from France, Kashif was promoted at The St. Regis Hotel, Mumbai, where he had already been working in the bakery department for the past four years.

This promotion stood as a powerful acknowledgment of his talent, professionalism, and international credibility—breaking both professional and social barriers.

Chasing Gold, Inspiring Millions

Kashif’s journey continued upward as he clinched Gold Medals at both the Regional and National Abilympics Competitions in 2025, firmly establishing himself among the finest culinary professionals in his field.

Today, with sharpened skills and renewed confidence, Kashif is preparing to compete at the International Abilympics in Helsinki, Finland, in May 2027, determined to bring home Gold for India. 🇮🇳
