At Sarthak Educational Trust, impact is not just a number — it is a transformed life, an empowered family, and a more inclusive society.
Since our inception in 2008, we have been deeply committed to the belief that every person with a disability has immense potential. When nurtured, this potential leads to dignity, purpose, and self-reliance.
Our journey has been one of scale, depth, and systemic change — evolving from a small office in Delhi into a pan-India presence with digital platforms, physical centres, and a growing global footprint.
Below, we present the reach and results of our interventions across multiple verticals.
Our core intervention focuses on enabling persons with disabilities to secure livelihoods through skill-based training and employment. Over the last 17 years, more than 1,00,000 youth with disabilities have been trained and placed in formal sectors including retail, hospitality, IT, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Our curriculum is customized to different disability types and job roles, combining vocational content, soft skills, digital literacy, and pre-employment readiness. Collaborations with over 5,000 corporate partners have led to meaningful job placements across India.
“When my father fell ill, I knew I had to step up. Being hearing and speech impaired never stopped me. I used to travel 34 km every day in search of work. After countless rejections, Sarthak Educational Trust opened the door to my first job. Today, I earn ₹1.5 LPA, support my family, and continue my studies. Everything has changed.”
Sarthak’s physical presence now extends across 30+ cities, delivering services that span from skill development to employment, advocacy, and accessibility support.
These centres act as one-stop hubs where individuals with disabilities can receive counseling, training, placement support, and access to assistive technology. Each centre also anchors community campaigns, workshops, and partnerships with local stakeholders.
Inclusion begins at birth. Our Early Intervention Centers provide critical support to children aged 0–6 years with developmental delays or disabilities.
With therapies (physiotherapy, occupational, speech), special education, and parental counseling, we ensure holistic development. To date, 7,000+ children have received support, resulting in school readiness, cognitive and motor progress, and stronger family inclusion.
Sarthak proudly leads the National Abilympic Association of India (NAAI), which represents India at the International Abilympics. In Metz, France (2023), India secured 7 medals, a milestone reflecting the skill excellence nurtured through Sarthak’s programs.
“Born with hearing and bone disabilities, I’ve faced challenges every step of the way — but I chose to rise. Winning Silver in Embroidery at the International Abilympics 2023 proved that skills have no limits. My goal now is to empower others like me, and build a world where dignity and self-respect aren’t privileges, but rights.”
Over 500+ awareness drives, workshops, and capacity-building sessions have been conducted with corporates, government, schools, and universities.
Our National Conference on Disability and role in national task forces have shaped inclusion policies, accessibility norms, and employment standards across India.
The Sarthak Global Resource Centre (SGRC) in Gurugram, launched in 2023, is India’s national hub for research, innovation, and excellence in disability inclusion.
It unites policymakers, academicians, corporates, PwDs, NGOs, and start-ups with state-of-the-art labs, assistive tech showcases, incubation, and global partnerships.

I always wanted to be independent and support myself—even with 90% low vision. But finding a job that fit my needs while studying seemed impossible—until I found Sarthak Educational Trust. The Gurgaon Center helped me build my skills, boost my confidence, and connected me with IndiaMART, where I got selected as a Telecaller in my first attempt with a salary of ₹10,000/month! Today, I manage my studies, job, and expenses with pride. Disability isn’t a barrier—it’s part of my strength. And with the right support, you can achieve anything.
After completing my Commerce degree, I struggled to find the right direction—until I found CapSarathi. As a person with left-side hemiparesis, this platform connected me to government schemes, job opportunities, skill training, and even assistive support. Through CapSarathi, I joined Sarthak’s Kolkata Center to build my skills and confidence. Now, I don’t just use the app—I recommend it to others like me. It’s not just a platform, it’s a lifeline.”
After losing my father, I knew I had no one else to rely on. Despite my locomotor disability, I wanted to study, get a job, and support my family. At Sarthak’s Ludhiana Center, I started learning job skills—and through CapSarathi, I found a scholarship opportunity I never knew existed. Now, I’m working toward a future I once thought was out of reach.”
