From a family craft in Kashmir to the global stage.

For Ghulam Mohd Magray, it is the intricate art of Willow Wicker Basket Making, a traditional craft he learned from his father in Kashmir.

Ghulam's dedication took him from a family craft to Gold at the North Regional and National Abilympics, and towards his dream of representing India at the International Abilympics in Finland in 2027.

His next weave has only one goal: Gold for India.

She built confidence and a professional career through her lens.

For Karuna Suryawanshi, it is Photography, a skill through which she has built confidence and a professional career despite growing up with hearing impairment.

Karuna's journey took her from communication barriers to becoming a professional photographer, after winning Gold at both the Regional and National Abilympics. She now dreams of helping other Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals build skills and financial independence through photography.

Her next frame captures a future where ability speaks louder than disability.
