Job Summary
As the Chief Technical Officer (CTO), primary responsibility is to lead the technology strategy and execution for the company. This role is critical in shaping the technology roadmap, identifying emerging technologies, and leveraging them to deliver innovative solutions that drive the organizational growth.
Key Responsibility Areas
- Technology Strategy: Develop and implement the company's technology strategy in alignment with the overall goals. You should stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, assess their relevance to the business, and determine the impact on existing technology infrastructure.
- Technology Execution: Oversee the technology team responsible for delivering high-quality software products and services. You will lead the software development process, ensuring timely and quality delivery, and establish best practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the technology team to identify new ways of delivering products and services. You should be creative and comfortable with taking calculated risks to leverage new technology to achieve business objectives.
- Technical Architecture: Design and implement a scalable and robust technical architecture that supports the organization's growth and expansion plans. One should ensure that the technology infrastructure is reliable, secure, and meets industry standards.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the executive team to ensure technology initiatives are aligned with organizational goals. You should also communicate with stakeholders, customers, and vendors to ensure that technology solutions meet their needs and expectations.
- Talent Management: Hire, mentor, and motivate a high-performing technology team. You should identify and develop the skills of team members and provide them with opportunities for growth and career advancement.
- Cloud Architecture: Design, implement and manage the architecture of AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the overall cloud architecture of your organization.
- Resource Management: Manage the AWS resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, databases, and other services, to ensure optimal utilization, performance, and cost-effectiveness. One will be responsible for monitoring the usage of resources and scaling them up or down as needed.
- Security: Ensure the security of your organization's AWS environment, including access control, data encryption, network security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and implement a disaster recovery and business continuity plan to ensure that critical applications and services can be restored in case of a disaster or outage.
Desired Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in a technology leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering software products and services.
Technological Understanding
- Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent knowledge on technology like: Html, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, CI & Spring Boot Framework, Laravel, PHP, Angular Latest Version, Angular JS, Python, Django, Memcached, LAMP Stack, MySQL 8, PostgreSQL. Apache 2.4+, AWS management, Advance MS Excel
- Mobile App- Android : Native JAVA based application, IOS : Swift3 and SwiftUI.
- Knowledge of GCP (google cloud platform).
- Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud computing, and data analytics.
- Experience in developing and executing technology strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with other executives, stakeholders, and customers.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a high-performing team.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively.
