National Conferences on Disability (NCD)
We're pleased to share the strides Sarthak has made in reaching Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across India. Through partnerships with over 600+ NGOs under the India Disability Empowerment Alliance (IDEA), development of digital solutions benefiting 80,000+ PwDs, and nurturing a global presence through webinars and e-meetups, Sarthak continues to advance its mission of disability inclusion.
Our dream project, the Sarthak Global Resource Centre (SGRC), is set to address all disability needs from childhood to livelihood under one accessible hub.
Last year, the theme for our 10th National Conference on Disability was "Glocal Partnerships (GPS) - Paving the way for an Inclusive, Accessible, and Sustainable World," held in December 2023 in Gurugram, Haryana.

The task of 'empowering the differently abled' is huge and I think Sarthak is on the right track. I wish them yet greater success in their mission. The Sarthak team is doing commendable work towards mainstreaming persons with disability. We support Sarthak’s Early Intervention Center at Sahibabad which provides therapeutic aid and special education to children facing development delays. Their dedication towards the cause ensured that parents also stepped up in role as trainers for their children.
Skilling Persons with Disabilities as one of its flagship programmes under Livelihood sector. Cognizant Foundation is glad to have partnered with Sarthak Educational Trust. Sarthak has been able to leverage digital tools to move from classroom training to digital lessons. We are happy to note that while the lockdown changed the dynamics of work.
I have been watching with appreciation the tremendous work that Sarthak, under the able stewardship of Dr. Jitender Aggarwal, I am deeply appreciative of the relentless efforts and laser-sharp focus by Sarthak. It's a noble endeavour and Sarthak's impact over the last decade has been fantastic!
Over the last two years, our support to Sarthak has focussed on enabling livelihoods for such people through a newly set up skilling centre in Chennai This center has focused on providing youth with disabilities the relevant skill training and job placements to ensure dignity and financial independence. We hope the centre grow and thrives in the future, with this noble mission in mind.
